Architectural accessibility
Statistical Computing Centre, Aleja Niepodległości 208, 00-925 Warsaw

Statistical Computing Centre is located in a building owned by the Statistics Poland, which is responsible for its architectural accessibility.

There is one main entrance to the building from 208 Niepodległości Avenue. The building consists of seven floors and four wings, which are marked with the letters A, B, C, and D on each floor.

There are no stairs to the main hall of the building from the outside.

The reception is located directly to the left of the main entrance. Further access is secured by gates. Additional gates are available for people with disabilities.

The Statistics Poland building is largely adapted to the needs of people with disabilities. The stairs in the main hall of the building (C wing) are equipped with movable platforms for transporting a wheelchair, inside the building adequate width of passageways is provided. Elevators are equipped with voice announcements and signage for blind people.

There are 6 toilets in the building adapted to the needs of people with disabilities. The toilets are located on the ground floor of the main hall, to the right of the entrance, as well as on the 1st, 3rd, 5th, and 6th floors.

In front of the building, there are 7 parking spaces available for people with disabilities.

In part of the building, there are signs in Braille. There are no high-contrast or large-print signs for persons who are visually impaired.

People in wheelchairs can access all floors of the building (with the assistance of our staff).

People in wheelchairs can enter the building using the elevator.

Glass doors and walls are not marked with contrasting tape.

The stairs are equipped with handrails.

The stair steps are not marked with contrasting strips.

The buttons in the elevator are not labeled in Braille.

The elevator is not equipped with voice announcements.

There is no parking for people with disabilities.

A restroom for people with disabilities is available.

Rooms in the building are not labeled with signs containing raised numbers or Braille.

Statistical Computing Centre branch in Łódź, 29 Suwalska Street 93-176 Łódź

Statistical Computing Centre (branch in Łódź) is located in a building owned by the Statistical Office in Łódź, which is responsible for its architectural accessibility.

There is one main entrance to the building from 29 Suwalska Street. The building consists of nine floors.

Stairs lead to the main lobby from outside, and to the right of the stairs, there is a ramp for wheelchair users. The path to the building is paved with lowered curbs. The sliding entrance doors are marked with warning tape.

The reception is located on the left side of the main entrance. Directly opposite the reception, there is an information board. The rooms on the ground floor are marked with signs in large print for people with visual impairments.

The building of the Statistical Office in Łódź is largely adapted to the needs of people with disabilities. On the ground floor, to the right of the entrance, there is a customer service room, which is accessed through sliding doors equipped with motion sensors for automatic opening. The service room also includes lowered counters to facilitate access for wheelchair users.

The accessible restroom is located on the ground floor of the main lobby, to the left of the entrance, behind the reception desk.

In front of the building, two parking spaces have been designated for people with disabilities. There are no Braille markings in the building. The internal stairs have contrasting markings.

The building is equipped with two passenger elevators, which do not have sliding doors.

The building has no thresholds that make wheelchair movement difficult and is equipped with sufficiently wide doors leading to the floors of the office, allowing people with disabilities to move around freely.
